INSULATION

Upgrading your home's insulation is one of the cheapest ways to save on energy.  In Arizona, R-38 is recommended for your attic.  R-value measures the thermal resistance of a material.  Meaning the more material, the greater its ability to resist heatflow.

The following are required for an install to be effective:

1. Alignment to air barrier
2. Uniformity in thickness
3. No Gaps, voids, or compressions
4. Secured in place and protected from wind intrusion
